I have little knowledge of the ideas held by those practicing and promoting this or that form of nudism. I am aware that the idea of nudity varies from culture to culture. Some think of a woman without a hijab as nude. Few Christians would share such a definition.
I do know that folks have taken nudism fairly seriously and that among those people are a number who think there is a liberatory aspect to not wearing clothes. I suppose that the more one looks into it the more one will find a diversity of nudist ideologies. I wrote that at the risk of sounding absurd.
Maybe I need help on this liberation framework, writing it that is.
